| MARS Foundation's Grant for Educational Infrastructure
development |
As a major project activity - the Foundation has initiated "MARS
Foundation's Grant for Educational Infrastructure development".
This activity aims at developing educational infrastructures as cited
as an object of the Foundation. Development would suggest funding
laboratories, libraries etc., in the most deserving schools in the
backward areas. Though it's still in the beginning stage, much caution
and efforts were taken in choosing the right institutes for adoption
and sponsorship.
As an extended activity the Foundation, has initiated
“Aim High +2 Coaching Center”, a plus two
coaching center in Y.Othakadai, Madurai District ,which
aims at providing high quality coaching for the plus two
public examination and the entrance examinations for professional
colleges to the rural poor student beneficiaries in and
around Othakadai. |

| ROLE OF MARS FOUNDATION IN ‘AIM HIGH +2 COACHING CENTER'
: |
As the concept of developing an infrastructure to
provide coaching for the rural poor was formulated by the Foundation,
it has reviewed the proposal submitted by the teacher volunteers
and has approved it after evaluation visits. The Foundation has
extended its support in the following areas –

Development of the infrastructure
- such as paying advance, rental deposits and providing basic
amenities needed for initiating the coaching center. |

A monthly commitment towards establishment
overheads |
|
Technical and professional support towards
up gradation and expansion. |
|
A total no of - 60 students are availing
the benefits of 'Aim High +2 Coaching center'. |
